Metroid Prime: Trilogy is an action-adventure video game compilation developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. It features Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on a single dual-layer disc. The former two, which were originally released for the Nintendo GameCube, have been updated with many of the features that were first implemented in the latter. Metroid Prime Trilogy comes packaged in a Steelbook case (only available in the North America release), contains an art booklet, and includes other features; it is one of a handful of Wii games to come in a non-white DVD case.

This page should be used for specific issues with the Metroid Prime: Trilogy launcher. For individual game information, please see the following pages.
Problems
Multiplayer Menu Hangs
In revision 4.0-3400, options in the multiplayer menu never appear, and button input is unresponsive.
Constant Wiimote Disconnects
Since 3.5-471, when using the MS Bluetooth Stack (the default bluetooth stack on Windows) the game will think that the wiimote is constantly disconnecting. Pressing Alt-F5 will restore it, but it will disconnect again seconds later. Windows users can disable "Enable Speaker Data" to solve this problem, or move to either the Toshiba Stack or the DolphinBar.
Blue Startup Video
Since 4.0-216, the opening video is... blue. It goes away as soon as a wiimote appears on the screen or after a period of time. It has no effect on gameplay. See issue 6783. Fixed by 4.0-3334.
Cannot Use Multiple Save Files
While each game will work correctly with a single player profile, multiple profiles do not work correctly. Start a new game with a new profile, and the game will not start anew, but will instead load the save from the previous profile. Furthermore, if the player attempts to load the Metroid Prime 2 Multiplayer in the Trilogy launcher, the game will show the multiplayer intro and then load the most recent save of Metroid Prime 2's single player. See issue 6070. Fixed by 4.0-1953.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
