WWE '12 is the first game in the WWE series and the fourteenth overall in the combined series. It is the sequel to WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011.

Emulation Information

Controller Map Overlap

WWE '12 is capable of using both GameCube controllers and Wii Remotes. If a physical controller is set to emulate both a GameCube Controller and a Wii Remote concurrently, it will operate both devices at the same time. To fix, migrate controls to use separate physical controllers.

Problems

Invisible Items

Some Items in Create a Super Star like Tattoos & Glasses wont show up on The Character to resolve this, set "Texture Cache Accuracy" to "Safe".

Enhancements

Texture Filtering and Videos

Setting "Texture Filtering" to "Force Linear" or "Anisotropic" (or any combination having them) will cause videos to appear completely messed up and unwatchable.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

Graphics

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
4.0-8057 Windows 7 Intel Core i7-5500U @ 2.4 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce 820M The game works fine with OpenGL at 55FPS (locked at 30FPS for 4+ player matches) also tried the Direct3d backend it works too. The Opening + TitanTron videos are messed up to fix them Turn off Texture Filtering and Turn off Anisotropic Filtering. I tried the 1v1, 4-6 player matches and all played perfectly. Create a Superstar needs Texture Cache Accuracy set to Safe. Some Framedrops in Road to WrestleMania but that is probably Because of my hardware other than that the game works fine.

My settings: Config: Checked (Dual Core, Idle Skipping) And using DSP HLE Audio. Graphics : 2x native resolution, No AA, 1x Anisotropic Filtering, No Post-Processing, Unchecked all other Enhancements and ALL Speed Hacks Checked.
