The Wii Startup Menu was a System Install Menu (Stub System Menu) used for the Wii in kiosk demos. It came with a disc containing a system update for the console, seemingly intended to be shipped with the launch Wii units. While there exist large amounts of evidence for its existence, the physical disc remains unfound. However, a NAND dump of a console with the startup disc message has been found due to some early Wii's shipping with it accidentally.
Problems
Doesn't Boot
The NAND System Menu seems to require IOS4V3, since it's not implemented, it just hangs at a black screen. Dolphin 4.0 seems to be able to boot the Menu but lacks support for detecting update partitions, rendering the menu useless.
