007: Agent Under Fire is a first-person shooter video game based on the James Bond franchise.


VP6 Videos

007: Agent Under Fire uses the VP6 video codec, common in Electronic Arts' titles, causing its videos to have vertical line artifacts and other glitches on NVIDIA graphics cards. The Software Render will display VP6 video correctly, but is typically too slow. VP6 rendering also reacts poorly to the Force Texture Filtering enhancements (and Anisotropic Filtering on NVIDIA), causing further scrambling.

Skip EFB Access from CPU

Agent Under Fire hangs while loading certain levels. (Vehicle sections might be common factor; more testing is needed.) To fix it, tick "Skip EFB Access from CPU" in the Graphics Settings > Hacks menu. Skipping EFB Access from CPU may have side effects. Load screens not displaying is a possible one.


No configuration changes are known to affect compatibility for this title.
