Bringing the Australian Football League to the Wii, AFL offers gamers the chance to experience real footballer action via visceral Wii Remote motion controls. Gameplay features such as mini contests, specky's, smothers, handballs, kicks, evade, hip and shoulder and tackles all provide precise, realistic sports action. A ten-year Career Manager Mode gives gamers an extended play experience over the life of the game. Plus, you can engage your friends in multiplayer matches of up to eight players. The first edition was released in 2011. An update was released in 2012 under the name AFL: Game of the Year Edition.
Emulation Information
Controller Map Overlap
AFL is capable of using both GameCube controllers and Wii Remotes. If a physical controller is set to emulate both a GameCube Controller and a Wii Remote concurrently, it will operate both devices at the same time. To fix, migrate controls to use separate physical controllers.
