Animal Crossing is a video game series developed by Nintendo, in which the player lives his/her own virtual life in a village populated with anthropomorphic animals. The game takes place in real time, reflecting the current time of day and season. The individual games have been widely praised for their uniqueness and innovative nature, which has led to the series becoming one of Nintendo's leading franchises. As of January 2010, over 15,000,000 units of games from the Animal Crossing series have been sold.
Problems
Crashing
The PAL release crashes at launch, with error "iCacheJIT: Reading Opcode from 4800008. Please report."
Black Screen
Some revisions experience black screen beyond opening Nintendo logo, audio/music play as normal and a 1px line at bottom of screen is rendered correctly. Using wireframe mode seems to show things being emulated appropriately.
These problems might not occur in Revisions from r6100 to r6302.
Character Limit
When trying to type in name of city or your characters. A max character reached error comes up when only half way through the text. Also may not be able to type anything at the beginning of the name and characters reached would come up (Using r6676 Dec 28, 2010).
Configuration
This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.
