Animal Crossing: City Folk, known in European and Australian markets as Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City, is a life simulation video game for the Wii video game console, released on November 16, 2008 in the United States, November 17, 2008 in Canada, November 20, 2008 in Japan, December 4, 2008 in Australia and December 5, 2008 in Europe, and on January 28, 2010 in South Korea. It is the follow- up to Animal Crossing: Wild World, released for the Nintendo DS in 2005, and is the third game in the Animal Crossing series.

Problems

There are only a few small issues when playing this game:

  • Sometimes there will be audio feedback when walking around town. Just enter a building to make it stop. Some music tracks can crackle lightly as well if using HLE. LLE will fix this problem.
  • Yellow backgrounds can appear in the pattern editor and catalog. Doesn't effect anything negatively.
  • Pattern editor does not work properly without enabling an accurate texture cache.
  • The observatory's telescope does not work.
  • The camera doesn't show pictures. Just use Dolphin's screenshot button to capture images of the game.
