Dance Dance Revolution II (known in Europe as Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 5) is a music video game in the Dance Dance Revolution series by Konami. It was released on October 11, 2011[1] for the Nintendo Wii in North America and on November 24, 2011 for Europe. Dance Dance Revolution II is the direct sequel to Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii. This game shares songs with the arcade version of Dance Dance Revolution X3 vs 2ndMix. It features characters from the arcade versions of Dance Dance Revolution.

Gameplay remains relatively unchanged from the original game. New modes to the Wii versions include Doubles Mode. Returning modes include Dance Mode, DDR School, and Training Mode. Dropped modes include Choreography Mode and the Wii Balance Board Mode.

Problems

In versions prior to the 6000 series, framerate issues may occur. Upgrade to r6000 or above (the most recent stable version is recommended) to fix this problem.

Using the DSP HLE emulation, the video is somewhat asynchronous with the audio. This can be fixed by going to the Options menu, and adjusting the Timing option in the Graphics menu to a positive value.

Using the DSP HLE emulation, the arrows start to drift from the audio. To fix this, use the DSP LLE recompiler. However, when using the unofficial DSP LLE ROM, the arrows are asynchronous with the audio by 200 to 500 milliseconds. This cannot be fixed in the options menu in-game or in Dolphin as far as is known.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
