Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is a Nintendo GameCube video game featuring the ape Donkey Kong and played with the DK Bongos. It was released in Japan on December 16, 2004, in Europe on February 4, 2005, in North America on March 14, 2005, and in Australia on March 17, 2005. In 2008 and 2009, the game was re-released in the New Play Control! series of revamped GameCube titles. The Wii version of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is somewhat changed from the original GameCube version, including new levels, modifications of old levels, and traditional controls that have the player use the analog stick to move and the A button to jump, unlike the GameCube version which required the player to beat the bongos to do both. This is the first game to be Rated E10 by the Entertainment Software Rating Board.

Problems

Audio

See issue 3415. In builds r4719 to r7467, there are considerable audio problems with both DSP-HLE and DSP-LLE, usually described as a constant static. Use revisions older or newer then those to avoid the problem, or patch it.

DK Bongos

If using a USB adapter, the bongos controller will work with dolphin. However, the microphone in the DK Bongos will not function, and it is required for clapping. See this thread on the forums for more details.

Configuration
