=== Interlaced Video ===
There are a few rendering issues with this title due to it's use of interlaced video modes unsupported by Dolphin:
*The screen will shake, as the image is rendered off by one pixel on alternating frames.
*Windowed modes will render oddly, squeezed to half height with black bars on left and right.
The DirectX backend on older releases, such as {{revision|4.0.2}}, is not effected by shaking. However this is likely due to it dropping the intermediate frames. Refer {{Issue|7332}}.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai (aka Dragon Ball Z in Japan) is the first game of the Budokai series of fighting games based on the Dragon Ball media franchise. Released on the GameCube with additional cel-shaded graphics.

Problems

Interlaced Output

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai forces interlaced rendering causing its output to jitter vertically. Dolphin doesn't currently support interlaced output and attempts to convert all output to be rendered progressively. When progressive rendering can't be forced, delinterlacing doesn't occur appropriately, causing output to shift up a row for one frame and back down on the next. Refer to issue 10473.
