Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep, known in North America as Endless Ocean: Blue World, is a scuba diving video game for Wii and the sequel to Endless Ocean, previously released for Wii in 2007. It was first revealed at a Nintendo conference held on October 2, 2008. The game was released as part of the Touch! Generations series of games in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Problems

Transparent Textures and Stretching

On the left and bottom sides , when a transparent texture overlaps another the texture underneath gets stretched out to the edges. This does not happen when there is no transparent texture on top. It happens when looking at the surface from under the water, and when looking at the water from the surface.

After wave has receded, the texture underneath looks fine

Reflections

The reflection/refraction of anything on the water gets drawn with an offset of a significant amount, this appears to be the same amount and sides as in "Transparent Textures and Stretching". Possibly addressed with r6881.

File:Endless Ocean 2-Reflection 1.png
Reflection gets drawn too high, and to the left
File:Endless Ocean 2-Reflection 2.png
The amount of displacement coincides with the stretching issue
File:Endless Ocean 2-Reflection 3.png
Cut-n-paste "under water" reflection and moved it the amount the borders on the sides are off

Hair

The hair on the main character looks strange. When taking a closer look the polygons aren't drawn. Either the Wii draws surfaces not displayed on screen, or textures and colors both sides of surfaces. Possibly addressed with r6881.

In game with normal graphics, the top of the head of the main character is transparent
File:Endless Ocean 2-Hair 2.png
Character select screen without textures, there are no polygons for the top of the head

On the boat without textures, no polygons for the top of the head

Configuration
