Final Fantasy V is a medieval-fantasy role-playing video game developed and published by Square in 1992 for the Super Famicom. The game begins as a wanderer named Bartz investigates a fallen meteor. There, he encounters several characters, one of whom reveals the danger facing the four Crystals that control the world's elements. These Crystals act as a seal on Exdeath, an evil sorcerer. Bartz and his party must keep the Crystals from being exploited by Exdeath's influence and prevent his resurgence.

Super NES Global Problems

[edit]

Problems that may occur with any Super NES title on Dolphin are listed below.

Glitched Sound

Sound is glitched in the OpenAL backend. Use XAudio2 to prevent this. Fixed in 5.0-798.

Problems

Stretched Output / Black Screen

Most graphics are stretched 100% horizontally to the right side of the screen, so only half the image is displayed. In newer revisions the stretching has been replaced by black output. Disable EFB Copies to Texture Only to fix this. Refer issue 10711. Set in game ini since 5.0-9262.

Configuration

This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.
