The man of steel faces his greatest challenge yet in Superman: Shadow of Apokolips. Darkseid, the most evil being in the galaxy, has enlisted the aid of Lex Luthor in his quest to destroy Superman and take over the world. As Superman, you must stop Luthor's army of Inter-Bot robots and the fearsome Metallo, who is fresh out of Strykers Island Prison. Use all of Superman's powers through 14 enormous levels, featuring epic battles with legendary villains, including Livewire and Parasite. The fate of the planet lies in your hands. It is based on DC Comics' flagship character Superman and the television series Superman: The Animated Series.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
5.0-4607 Windows 10 Intel Core i7-6600K @ 4.5 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Plays fine through intro mission. Kolano
5.0-19870 Windows 10 Intel Core i7-2700K @ 3.5 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Direct3D 12. There is a graphical glitch where Superman has lines coming off his body and going to the edge of the screen. When using Direct3D 11, the graphical glitch does not happen. Interestingly, the same bug happened in the PS2 emulator PCSX2 when playing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe using Direct3D 12 with v1.7.3102, and I fixed that by switching to OpenGL. The game's initial cutscenes are very slow, but updating to the latest version, 5.0-20814, fixed this. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJMwrzTmF8w for a reference video. I only tested the very start of the game. SpectraNocturne
