GiFTPiA is a video game that was developed by Skip Ltd. for the Nintendo GameCube. It was released in Japan on April 25, 2003. Despite the fact its last showing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was in English, Nintendo cancelled the North American localization of GiFTPiA. In English, the game's title would be better understood as "Giftopia" to represent the two words, gift and utopia.
Problems
Kanji Display
The provided font_sjis.bin renders NTSC (J) in game kanji incorrectly. Instructions to dump the native font from the GameCube BIOS can be found here. Alternatively the fonts can be dumped manually from the offset 0x1AFF00.
As of 4.0-5097 the included fonts are much improved to the point that they are almost indistinguishable from fonts on the original hardware; ripping fonts from your console is no longer necessary.
Configuration
This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with GiFTPiA since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
Testing
This title has been tested on the environments listed below:
