GiFTPiA is a video game that was developed by Skip Ltd. for the Nintendo GameCube. It was released in Japan on April 25, 2003. Despite the fact its last showing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was in English, Nintendo cancelled the North American localization of GiFTPiA. In English, the game's title would be better understood as "Giftopia" to represent the two words, gift and utopia.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
3.0-204 Windows 7 Intel Core i5-760 @ 2.8GHz ATI Radeon HD 5770 Fairly solid 25-30FPS, some specific effects cause notable strain but seems to be CPU based strain. As noted above kanji is rendered with the internal SJIS font and can be difficult to read.
4.0-4474 Ubuntu 14.04 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Couldn't get very far because I can't speak Japanese. 100% speed with default settings. Everything I played was perfect as far as I can tell (compared to a longplay on youtube), except for the strange-looking kanji characters. Audio is accurate with HLE. Xerxes
4.0-5099 Ubuntu 14.10 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Same as above but kanji looks much better as of 4.0-5097. Perfect as far as I can tell. Xerxes
