Problems

Avatar Sometimes Blacks Out

After the end of an event, sometimes an avatar's face may not show up next to their name, instead being replaced by a black square. Use DISABLE Store EFB Copies to Texture Only to avoid this. This usually occurs during longer minigames where it's more likely the EFB Copy will need to be regenerated.

Photo Opportunities

All pictures will come out black unless "Store EFB Copies to Texture" is unchecked.

Victory/Defeat Screen Flickering

Pie Toss, Mole Panic, Power Boxer and likely others show off-screen rendering in-between valid frames. To fix, enable Virtual-XFB. Only certain minigames are afflicted with this bug. Fixed with Hybrid XFB in 5.0-5874.

Top of Screen Flickering

Certain minigames (such as Power Boxing) will have flickering at the top edge of the screen if VirtualXFB is enabled. Enabling "Crop" crops this part of the screen. If you cannot use Crop, RealXFB OR noXFB will fix the issue, but the minigame's summary screen will require some sort of XFB to render properly. Fixed with Hybrid XFB in 5.0-5874.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
5.0 Windows 10 Intel Core i5-6400 @ 3.3GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Settings: DX11, 6x Native Resolution (for 4k), AA = 8x MSAA, AF = 16x. The game has a 30fps cap (because of its open world and the graphics that push the Wiis hardware). Unfortunately this cap is not removable in dolphin. The game runs perfectly @ 30fps and doesn’t crash/stutter. I can’t see any bugs. Sam1
5.0-424 Windows 10 Intel Core i5-3570K @ 3.8GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Plays great. One of my favorite Wii games so far. Great with multiple players or as a single player experience. JMC4789
