GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (aka GoldenEye: Dark Agent (ゴールデンアイ ダークエージェント) in Japan) is a James Bond video game developed and published by Electronic Arts. The player takes the role of an ex-MI6 agent who is recruited by Auric Goldfinger, a member of a powerful unnamed criminal organization, to assassinate his rival Dr. No. Several other characters from the Bond film series make appearances throughout the game in a non-canonical setting, including Pussy Galore, Oddjob, and Xenia Onatopp as well as Francisco Scaramanga, playing a Q type character with the voice and likeness of Christopher Lee, who played the same character in 1974's The Man with the Golden Gun.
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent has a native 16:9 display option, but it requires enabling it in its internal options and setting Dolphin's Aspect Ratio graphics setting to "Auto". Using the widescreen hack with this title is not recommended.
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent uses the VP6 video codec, common in Electronic Arts' titles, causing its videos to have vertical line artifacts and other glitches on many graphics cards. The Software Render will display VP6 video correctly, but is typically too slow. VP6 rendering also reacts poorly to the Force Texture Filtering enhancements (and Anisotropic Filtering on NVIDIA), causing further scrambling. See issue 7193. In 5.0-15515 or newer, this can be fixed with "Manual Texture Sampling" in the Graphics Settings -> Advanced menu.
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

The graph below charts the compatibility with GoldenEye: Rogue Agent since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
This title has been tested on the environments listed below:
|r6257||Windows 7||Intel Core i7-930 @ 3.53 GHz||ATI Radeon HD 5770||In game nearly perfect|
|4.0-2739||Windows 7||AMD Athlon II X4 635 @ 2.9 GHz||AMD Radeon HD 5800||Full speed no glitches seen. Multiplayer works too. Perfect.|
|4.0-4647||Windows 7||Intel Core i7-4790K||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti||Game runs fine, but videos appear broken and unwatchable|
|4.0-9135||Windows 10||Intel Core i5-6600k @ 4.7 GHz||AMD Radeon R9380||No special setting were required for this game to be fully playable. Nothing I could see jumps out as a graphical glitch. Even the videos played properly.||cammelspit|
