In Hanjuku Hero a king used the power of a mysterious egg to unify a continent. However, he suddenly died a day after the unification, and the countries subjected to his rule revolted. The king's heir, the young prince must work with those few still loyal to the king and learn to use the power of the egg to bring order back to the continent. The game has a humorous edge to it, featuring Japanese puns.
Emulation Information
Famicom Microphone Support
As controllers supported by the official Japanese Wii Virtual Console releases did not have microphones, the original Famicom version's support for blowing into Player 2's microphone lacks the hardware to do so. Instead, the microphone functionality is mapped on Classic Controller and GameCube Controller to holding down L while rotating the right control stick. The Wii Remote sideways has no such mapping.
