Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a 2002 action-adventure game.
Problems
Real XFB
This game requires Real XFB for cutscenes and to fix other graphical glitches ingame; however, Real XFB is set by default for this game. This can be changed in the game's properties.

Testing
This title has been tested on the environments listed below:
Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
3.0 | Windows XP x86 | AMD Phenom II X2 545 @ 3.1GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT | Only working on PAL version, don't boot on NTSC. Fully playable. Full speed without any slowdowns, main videos and BGM are broken, and some problems with the audio, but not very annoying. | luken |
3.0 | Mac OS X 10.7 | Intel Core i5 @ 1.7GHz | Intel HD Graphics 4000 | Everything's fine. Has some slowdowns in large areas, but the MacBook Air does a great job of handling this game. About 40-60FPS. Fully playable. | ekatts |
3.0-415 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.39GHz | ATI Radeon HD 4870 | Fully working with issues. Videos are OK, no graphic glitches are on the list, but sound stutters badly with no BGM at all. Could be solved thru LLE recompile, which is very CPU intensive. | recon |
4.0 | Windows | Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 3.4GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6950 | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets HD Widescreen Hack | Spartacus |
4.0-1340 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i5-4570 @ 3.6GHz | AMD Radeon HD 4870 | FPS ~ 55(US). Some minor speed drawbacks. No glitches in video, sound and music. Playable to the end. | Unruval |
4.0-3178 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i3-2310M @ 2.1GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 610M | Fully playable (PAL version), although some speed drawbacks at the beginning and at the Quidditch matches. | HauruI |
4.0-5256 | Linux Ubuntu 14.10 | Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 | Playable. Constant crackling with most sound effects using both HLE and LLE, including the walking sound effect, but nothing as bad as the first game's sound problems. Some slowdown here or there that stabilizes out the more you play, and texturing issues with letters in the menus, but otherwise gameplay is perfect. | Xerxes |
