Lego Star Wars: The Video Game is a video game based on the Star Wars themed toy line by the Lego Group and the first game in TT Games' Lego videogame franchise. It takes place during the prequel trilogy (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith), with a bonus segment from A New Hope. Lego Star Wars was first released on April 5, 2005, a full month before the final Star Wars film premiered.

Problems

Crash /w Continue Story

The game may crash when using the "Continue Story" option at the end of a level. This can be avoided by always returning to the diner at the end of a stage or disabling Dual Core mode. Refer issue 7143.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
3.5-402 Windows 8 Intel Core i7-3820 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 60FPS, occasional framedrops in netplay Oerg866
4.0-4589 Ubuntu 14.04 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Playable with default settings. Vehicle levels can have varying amounts of slowdown; podracing for example is perfect but the flying mission at the start of Episode 3 can slow down to almost 50%. The regular stages work fine at constant 100% speed with only a few minor texture issues. Using the "Continue Story" button at the end of a mission once crashed the game before it was able to finish saving, making me lose all my progress, so I recommend going back to the diner between stages. Able to complete every mission. Xerxes
