'''''Manhunt 2''''' is an action/adventure video game developed by Rockstar Games and the sequel to 2003's ''Manhunt''. The game was released in North America for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii on October 29, 2007. Originally scheduled for release in July, it was suspended by Take-Two due to a rating rejection in the United Kingdom, Italy and Ireland and an AO rating in the United States. Rockstar eventually submitted a modified version of the game, which was re-rated with an M by the ESRB and allowed for an October 29 release date in North America.

Typically Dolphin does not have CPU Clock Overrides enabled by default, but this game presents an exception. Due to a timing issue with the game's video player, the game would experience frequent freezes while playing back FMV cutscenes. Because this is a story driven game and the problems cannot be worked around with great cycle accuracy, the latest builds of Dolphin's have a slight Emulated CPU Overclock applied by default. This setting was tested to not cause issues throughout the remainder of the game, however it may cause the game to be slightly more demanding than necessary.

Manhunt 2 is an action/adventure video game developed by Rockstar Games and the sequel to 2003's Manhunt. The game was released in North America on October 29, 2007.

Emulation Notes

FMV Freezes

Typically Dolphin does not have CPU Clock Overrides enabled by default, but this game presents an exception. Due to a timing issue with the game's video player, the game would experience frequent freezes while playing back FMV cutscenes. Because this is a story driven game and the problems cannot be worked around with great cycle accuracy, the latest builds of Dolphin's have a slight Emulated CPU Overclock applied by default. This setting was tested to not cause issues throughout the remainder of the game, however it may cause the game to be slightly more demanding than necessary.

Problems

Black Screens

In several parts of the game the screen goes black and no texture can be seen if Store EFB Copies to Texture Only is on, disable it to solve this.

Enhancements

Movies Graphical Glitches

If Texture Filtering is set to Force Linear or Anisotropic (or any combination of both), the movies in the game won't work correctly.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
