MaxPlay Classic Games Volume 1: Difference between revisions
(Removing the pre-4.0 bug, and a no longer correct gfx backend recommendation. The "no graphics" bug is probably fixed by the same fixes that fixed NES games, however someone needs to confirm it...) |
(→Problems: No Graphics still exists, it currently seems to be caused by XFB:Virtual. Also getting FIFO errors.) |

Problems
Crash
Maxplay Classic Games crashes when loading. For it to boot properly, it requires a dump of the GameCube BIOS, and "Skip Bios" to be disabled in the GameCube settings.
FIFO Error
Generates a "FIFO is overflowed by GatherPipe ! CPU thread is too fast!" error at start-up. Pressing "Yes" on that dialog and "OK" on the next two will allow the game to start.
No Graphics
With "External Frame Buffer" set as "Virtual" a blank screen is shown at start up. It will start with XFB disabled, or set as "Real", though the later may be preferable as it corrects issues with the GameCube BIOS intro which is needed to start the game.
