'''''Mega Man X Collection''''' is a compilation of video games developed by Capcom. It was released on January 10, 2006 exclusively in North America for the Nintendo GameCube and Sony PlayStation 2 platforms. Mega Man X Collection contains the first six games in the Mega Man X series, which originated on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and made its way onto various 32-bit consoles and PC. The plot follows the protagonist Mega Man X and his partner Zero as they battle Sigma and his army of "Maverick" robots. All six games are action platformers in which the player traverses a series of stages and gains the special weapons of defeated bosses. | |||

Problems
Sprite Problems
Sprites create small gaps and glitches (most noticeable in X and X2). Set Texture Cache Accuracy to Safe.
Audio Issues
All the games that have intro videos do not have sound when using HLE audio, but all other videos are fine. Additionally, if using Accurate VBeam Emulation to correct the game speed, music may sound slower when using HLE audio. Use LLE audio to solve either of these problems.
Game Speed
Games may run twice as fast as expected even though Dolphin reports game speed to be 100%. Use Accurate VBeam Emulation to correct this.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
Graphics
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
Texture Cache Accuracy | Safe | Fixes various sprite glitches |
Audio
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
DSP Emulator Engine | LLE | Fixes missing intro audio, plays music correctly with Accurate VBeam Emulation |
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with Mega Man X Collection since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
