Metroid Prime: Trilogy is a three-game collection for the Wii console that bundles all three landmark Metroid Prime games onto one disc and revamps the first two installments with intuitive Wii Remote controls, wide-screen presentation and other enhancements. Each game maintains its original storyline and settings, but now Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes let players use their Wii Remote to aim with precision as heroine Samus Aran. Based on the breakthrough control system that debuted in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, these new Wii controls bring an entirely new level of immersion and freedom to these milestone games. Players can access the game they want from a unified main menu that ties together all three adventures. Through a new unlockables system, players can gain access to in-game rewards such as music and artwork by accomplishing objectives across all three games.

Constant Wii Remote Disconnects
When using the MS Bluetooth Stack (the default Bluetooth stack on Windows) the game will think that the Wii Remote is constantly disconnecting. Pressing a button on the Wii Remote will restore it, but it will disconnect again seconds later. Disable Enable Speaker Data to remedy this problem. It's a problem bound to PC hardware and driver, you can also try Bluetooth Passthrough, or follow this Wii Remote -TR Connection Guide anyhow to avoid the MS Bluetooth stack. DolphinBar is another viable solution for this problem.
Save File Hang
As ofthe game will hang on creation of a savefile. To avoid issues, use an older version of Dolphin for now while the regression is worked on. This may only happen on the Windows version of Dolphin, as users on Linux reported no hang. Repaired in

|Windows 7||Intel Core i5-2500K @ 4.3 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 x2||100% emulation, there's no stuttering or lagging. Minor problems, such as 3 pixels at the middle of the screen. It's a bit annoying but easy to ignore. NVIDIA GeForce 3D vision isn't working, possibly a Dolphin problem. Settings used: Direct3D9, no AA, no Anisotropic filtering, HLE audio (seems to work right, without any problems), 1440x900 full-screen resolution. For more info click here||Megamew28|
|Windows 7||Intel Core i7-4770K @ 3.5 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti||Game launches fine, but I'm unable to play anything. Prime 1 and 3 claim that the Wii Remote has disconnected, Prime 3 simply goes black and freezes, with some odd pixels in the center of the screen. Prime 2 gets as far as some sort of menu but it's impossible to input using Wii Remotes. Disabling Speaker Data has no affect. Running OpenGL, XAudio2, and using the DolphinBar.||BillyAlt|
|Windows 8.1||Intel Core i5-4670K @ 4.4 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970||One small issue - The Wii Remote gets disconnected every time I load my save game, which is easily fixed with alt+f5. Prime 2 runs flawlessly, completed the game without any issues. Prime 3 runs well in the latest builds, gone are the audio issues from earlier revisions. Currently just got Plasma Beam in Prime 3, and everything is working just fine now. Mouse and keyboard controls work well enough to enable a full play through without an actual Wii Remote. Not sure about Prime 1 as I refuse to play the trilogy version due to removal of sequence breaking.||Andr0idOS|
|Linux 4.8.15||Intel Core i5-4690 @ 3.5 GHz||AMD Radeon R7 250E||IR 2x, very little stuttering. Skip EFB Access from CPU speeds up emulation to a near-perfection point.||lmello|
|Windows 10||Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970||All games ran on 60FPS all the time. There were only occasional slowdowns at certain parts of each game. In Prime 1 when looking up at the rain during the Ridley boss fight; In Prime 2 when a Rezbit is uploading a virus to your suit making your visor flicker; In Prime 3 on the G.F.S. Valhalla when the rooms "Docking Bay 5" and "Hangar A Access" are connected and visible at the same time.||TowerTowel|
