My Pokémon Ranch is similar in concept to Pokémon Box, and allows players to transfer up to 1,500 of their Pokémon from up to eight separate Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Nintendo DS game cards, to a ranch run by Hayley, a friend of Bebe who runs the PC box system in these versions. Here, they can view their Pokémon rendered in 3D, while using their Miis to interact with them.

Players do not need to own Pokémon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum to play My Pokémon Ranch. Players with or without the Nintendo DS game will be given six starter Pokémon and a new Pokémon at the start of each day. Additionally, each day Hayley will give the player requests for certain Pokémon not in the player's Pokédex to be added to the ranch, along with instructions on where to find them in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. It has also been confirmed that players can obtain a special Mew and Phione. Hayley can also trade certain Pokémon she already has in her possession. Eventually, adding more Pokémon to the ranch unlocks new features to the game and expands the ranch.

Emulation Information

DS Connection Support

While Dolphin does emulate the IOS modules for broadcasting and connecting to the Nintendo DS, there is no infrastructure to actually connect to any emulator or hardware unit.

Pictures taken in game may render as completely black. This can likely be resolved by disabling Store EFB Copies to Texture Only.

r7671 Windows 7 Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 3.10 GHz NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Playable with full speed, no graphs glitches, no music glitches, one word: Perfect.
3.0-637 Windows Vista Intel Core i7-920 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 Playable with full speed, no glitches, after successfully running Mii Channel and making a Mii
4.0.2 Windows 7 AMD A4-5300B @ 3.4 GHz AMD Radeon HD Works awful. Freezes at 0 FPS while saving, crashes when going to other screens. Low FPS while playing. Just horrible.
5.0 Windows 10 Intel Core i5-4430 @ 3 GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Playable. No freezing. Ranch name was changed to "dolphin Ranch" (it was "Wii Ranch" on my Wii's NAND). New pictures aren't saved correctly, they appear completely black. javidg96
