If you see references on the wiki to "NAND dumps" or get error messages from Dolphin like so:

There must be a ticket for 01234567/89ABCDEF. Your NAND dump is probably incomplete.

these are referring to the built-in NAND flash memory on the Wii, which contains your save data, downloaded channels, and the System Menu. Some games may require files only found in a full NAND dump to work completely.

Dolphin stores Wii data in the User/Wii/ subdirectory of the place it is installed. If you have a NAND dump, you can extract the Wii file system contents from the dump and place them here. However, you must retain the original User/Wii/shared2/sys/SYSCONF file instead of overwriting it with the one from your NAND dump; the SYSCONF file is used by Dolphin and using a real Wii's SYSCONF will only confuse Dolphin.
