Pokémon Puzzle League is a puzzle game for the Nintendo 64 console. It is based on Nintendo's Panel de Pon puzzle games, but with Pokémon likenesses. It was only available in North America starting in 2000, and in Europe in 2001, making it the first Pokémon game produced for North America first. The game was not available in Japan because it is based on the English dub of the anime; the Japanese received the game's Game Boy Color counterpart, Pokémon Puzzle Challenge. It is the only Pokémon game to be based on the Pokémon anime universe, and to feature Ash Ketchum, the anime's protagonist.
In-Game Framerate Loss
Even when playing at full speed, you may notice framerate issues and slowdown. This is because the game actually lagged while being emulated on the Wii and Nintendo's emulator is compensating for the lag. Dolphin lags a bit more than console on this particular title, but, can be tuned via the advanced option "Override Emulated CPU Clock" to make it laggier or remove all of the lag beyond what is possible on console.

Does push the hardware relatively hard, even compared to high end Wii games, you may be watching your processor crumble under the pressure. Performance is better (even withstanding the processor upgrade from then,) but the game does require a healthy Emulated CPU Overclock to run 60/60. It also lagged on console, but I think Dolphin's lag is worse at default clock. I' m writing this from the laptop from my first report!||JMC4789|
