Sega's hard-hitting football series is ready for the 2002-03 season with NFL 2K3. Are you? Step out onto the gridiron for the most realistic football imaginable, enjoying full NFL rosters, detailed stadiums, and more. Using its new ESPN endorsement, the game presents its action in full television style, complete with spinning graphics, awesome slow-motion replays, stats, analysis, and the rest of the fixings. With better player models and more focused physics, NFL 2K3 takes on the feel of the pros, and new motion-capture animations further articulate the game-day action; one-handed tips, animated coaches, hurried throws, and other brilliant minutia are at play throughout the games, and team AI has been honed to perfection. Franchise mode puts you in the role of GM, challenging you to make good draft decisions and smart trades all from within the strict confines of a salary cap. Of course, you can always play a single game or enjoy a full season as well, and there are plenty of other goodies for pigskin fans, too.
NFL 2K3 has a native 16:9 display option, but it requires enabling it in its internal options and setting Dolphin's Aspect Ratio graphics setting to "Auto". Using the widescreen hack with this title is not recommended.

Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
r6931 | Windows 7 | Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 3.75 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 | Fully Playable: 30FPS with DX11 plug-in, and OpenCL Enabled | |
4.0-2575 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 | Fully playable. No issues whatsoever after playing a few full sessions. Used OpenGL and HLE Audio. No sound looping that I could recall as well. Should be Five Stars at this point as long as newer builds don't break the game somehow. | Yugix |
