No More Heroes is the story of Travis Touchdown. He has received orders to kill a vagabond. In front of him appears the handsome assassin Helter Skelter. After a fierce skirmish, Travis eliminates Skelter, upon which Silvia Christel arrives. She informs Travis that his victory was done without UAA permission, but he nonetheless becomes the 11th best assassin. And so Travis’s journey begins.

Problems

Template:SCity FreezesTemplate:/s

Random freezes occur throughout the city, especially when getting onto or driving the bike. Use JITIL to reduce the frequency of the freezes. There is no known fix at this time.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
r4980 Windows XP Intel Core 2 Duo e7400 @ 2.8GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 No More Heroes 2 Dolphin Emulator 4980
r7592 Windows 7 Intel Core 2 Duo e7500 @ 2.93GHz ATI Radeon HD 4670 playable, some slowdowns especially on the ranking menu(after a boss battle) Otacon23
3.0-424 Windows 7 AMD Athlon II X3 450 @ 3.2GHz AMD Radeon HD 6670 Playable. OpenGL 1x Native and AA 4x = good speed (I'm not using any speedhacks by now. Later I'll check them). Can play it with a regular Gamepad.
3.0-433 Windows XP AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2GHz ATI Radeon HD 4350 Playable. Using OpenGL instead of D3D9 adds ~20% to FPS. Some freezes in the city, be sure to use JITIL to avoid most of them, and save there often. 10-45FPS. Rottiger
4.0-1349 Windows 8 AMD FX 6300 @ 3.6GHz AMD Radeon HD 6450 Playable. DirectX works great, even in the city. No crashes by now. Slows down when a lot of particles are shown (blood effect, chapter end summary, minigames). Using XAudio2, the phonecalls are laggy and have bad audio quality. Faefdsedf
4.0-7962 Windows 7 Intel Core i7-2600K @ 4.5GHz NVIDIA GeForce 560 Ti Playable. Direct3D runs faster than OpenGl. 'Store EFB Copies to Texture Only' needs to be disabled for post processing effects to work which are prevalent during the entire game but results in slowdowns. Emulated Wiimote audio(phone calls) works just as it does on real hardware. No issues or cut-scene desync caused by using HLE audio. NameGoesHere
