New Play Control! Pikmin is the re-release of the cult classic Pikmin on the Wii as part of the New Play Control! series.

Problems

Crash

The game may crash randomly with the OpenGL backend. Use D3D9 or D3D11 to avoid this.

Sound

  • Distorted sound effects are present when using DSP HLE. Use DSP LLE instead.
  • This game has unusually high volume in comparison to other titles.

r7408 Windows 7 x64 Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 3.2GHz nVidia GeForce GTX 275 896MB Runs better in r7408, but still has some glitches. Slowdown at start of a stage and flicker with grass are both gone. Sound crackling remains. Observed nasty slowdown when turning on "EFB Enable CPU Access". MaJoR
