PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure is the second Wii incarnation of the Pokémon video game franchise.

Problems

NPCs sporadically warp/skip

NPC characters appear to "disappear" or suddenly warp from one place on screen to the next. Specific NPCs may be prone to large skips, or only small skips, or no skipping at all. This appears to be caused by using JIT Recompiler, and does not occur whilst using JITIL Recompiler.

Snapshots

Snapshots will not display correctly with EFB to Texture. Use EFB to Ram to fix them. The mandatory snapshot tutorial requires functioning snapshots to continue the game.

Hang Post Menu

Game intro is working fine, but after the intro movie it will not start the game and will be stuck at loading animation. This issue was resolved in 3.0-436. See issue 2917.

Snapshots Crash

Taking snapshots using JITIL Recompiler instead of JIT will no longer result in a crash, meaning the mandatory snapshot tutorial can now be passed using JITIL. This should be true in 3.0-484 at least.

  • Keep in mind however that snapshots taken with EFB Copy to Texture will still display incorrectly.

Text Glitches

If Texture Cache Accuracy is set to "Fastest", glitches will appear in the description text in the "How to Play" screens. Fixed with the removal of the Fastest setting.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
