Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first Wii incarnation of the Pokémon video game franchise. It is also the first Wii game to use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in North America and Japan and the first Wii game to wirelessly interact with the Nintendo DS handheld.

Emulation Information

DS Connection Support

While Dolphin does emulate the IOS modules for broadcasting and connecting to the Nintendo DS, there is no infrastructure to actually connect to any emulator or hardware unit.

Problems

PAL Illegible Text

Text in the PAL version is not legible. This can be corrected by enabling Safe Texture Cache.

Glitched Trainer Card Images

If Store EFB Copies to Texture Only is enabled, all Trainer images on Rental passes will not show correctly and show a garbled mess instead. Turning off Store EFB Copies to Texture only will fix this and show them properly.

Texture Glitch

Occasionally, the names of Pokémon species will be displayed in place of the textures used for visual effects in battles. Occasionally this bug affects textures on trainer characters as well.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

Graphics

Config Setting Notes
Store EFB Copies to Texture Only Off Fixes broken rental pass trainer images
