Harvest Moon: Animal Parade is a farming Construction and management simulation video game by Marvelous Entertainment released exclusively for Nintendo's Wii console. It is the second title for the Wii in the Harvest Moon series, and has the same character designer as Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. It features many animals, all of which one can ride, including circus animals.
Problems
Album Issues
In order for the Album to work properly, Store EFB Copies to Texture Only must be off. Pictures taken with Store EFB Copies to Texture Only enabled will have a thumbnail that is black, and while they will appear for a moment, they will disappear after a while. Taking further pictures will overwrite old ones temporarily as well. To fix, just uncheck Store EFB Copies to Texture Only.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
r5475 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-2630QM @ 2.9 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M | Harvest moon animal parade wii dolphin emulator | TheMegags |
r7475 | Windows 7 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT | Good | volkans80 |
r7590 | Windows 7 | AMD Phenom II X4 795 | ATI Radeon HD 5770 | Most time good but some times crashes and some times sound bugs occur | Vincend |
r7719 | Windows Vista | AMD Phenom II X4 840 @ 3.2 GHz | ATI Radeon HD 5700 | Playable with patience. FPS is usually 25-30 Indoors, 100% speed. Outdoors it's 18-20FPS with 55-70% speed. Small graphical errors in small thin models. (such as hay on barn floor) Game runs smoothly otherwise. | Sealion |
3.0-201 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-2600K @ 4.5 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 | Runs perfectly. Constantly 25-27FPS -> 100% (If I turn off FPS Limit -> 50 - 75FPS outdoor, good for some longer walks). No lags, no graphic/sound issues, just perfectly fine :) | Zorro |
3.0-589 | Windows 7 | Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @3 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 | Unplayable. Indoors ~20FPS ~95% Speed, outdoors ~7FPS ~55% speed, audio seems to be OK. | Alu |
3.0-684 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-2600K @ 3.4 GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series | Excellent, 28-30FPS at all times. but the old photo album glitch seems to have returned, and is not corrected by marking the EFB RAM option anymore. The bug on the 20th floor of the watery cave seems to have been corrected though. | Ammy |
3.5-367 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-2400K @ 3.1 GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series | Very Good, 20 - 21FPS in highly populated areas (towns) and large outdoor areas. 30FPS indoors and in some outdoor areas. Photo album glitch is fixed by changing to EFP RAM. There is an audio glitch where loud screech/static occurs randomly: the screeching goes on for about 5 minutes then ceases (only to return again randomly). The prevalence of the audio glitch can be greatly reduced by turning off in-game sound FX (in game options, in the diary beside bed). Switching to DSP LLE seems to prevent the audio glitch, but slows down game performance. Agree with above: the bug on the 20th floor of the watery cave seems to have been corrected. | Vulpix |
3.5-367 | Windows 7 | Intel Dual Core E5700 @ 3 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT | Almost Good and still Playable, 15 - 20FPS in town and large outdoor areas (Game Speed Only 40-50%). 30FPS indoors and in some outdoor areas (Game Speed 100%). Photo album glitch/black. There is an audio glitch where loud screech/static occurs randomly. | octadaniel |
4.0.2 | Windows 8.1 | Intel Core i5-4670 @ 3.4 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 | Perfect! I can play all game with 100% speed in Pal version of this game. (25FPS) no sound glitch, no album glitch. (about album problem. You must settings correctly can slove it.) | BoatKung |
