Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield fight the undead in this thrilling co-op arcade shooter that relives classic moments from Resident Evil 2 and more, only for Wii. Capcom brings the Resident Evil series back to Wii with the sequel to the highly successful, million-selling title, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.
Unlike the evil enemies you fought against in the previous story, in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, players will fight against the characters’ own inner demons. Two of the most popular characters in the series and heroes of the beloved Resident Evil 2, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, will be making their return. As unconventional heroes, the two start out the game as ordinary individuals who are thrown into terrorizing situations where their own fear is their biggest enemy. Featuring a brand new storyline that will fill in missing pieces of the “Chronicles” series, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles leads players into a horrific world where the lines between good and evil are blurred and the fight begins with your dark side…
The game’s on-rail, arcade shooter gameplay first featured in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles has been radically upgraded in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. One of the major additions is a sub-screen which will allow for weapon configuration and use of recovery items regardless of time progression. A horde of new features including a new system that allows players to modify the difficulty level according to their playing skills will bring accessibility and fun to both the hardcore and casual gamer.
Continuing in the survival horror tradition, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will increase the thrills and chills with an enhanced two-player co-op mode where players will be able to follow their partners on the same screen. Their conversations and interactions have also been improved to create a more intense co-op experience.
A more terrifying experience than ever before, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles combines a shaky and realistic handheld camera experience with an eerie soundtrack and creepy sound effects utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
Dialogue occasionally gets stuck and repeats itself. This happens randomly and fixes itself when a new dialogue set is initiated or the game reaches a checkpoint. DSP LLE should fix this.
Slowdowns occur in the beginning of chapters. Shooting a few times resolves this. This is likely due to JIT caching.
With increased resolutions, bloom strongly highlights and so far it cannot be fixed.
It is difficult to get 60 FPS in all locations with this code. Gecko Code for North American version:
$60FPS [solitarius] 04736D44 00000001

|Windows||Intel Core i5-750||ATI Radeon HD 4850||Known Issues:
|Windows 7||AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 GHz||ATI Radeon HD 5770||Fully Playable: In some Levels full FPS -> 30FPS, in areas with many zombies about 20FPS but Playable||0005|
|Windows 7||Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450||Fully playable with minor slowdowns in some areas and the occasional dialogue glitch. In a full play through the dialogue got stuck 3 times total and none at all in another play through. Reloading a save or enduring it until the next dialogue or checkpoint fixes this problem.||Dosmod|
|Windows 7||Intel Core i7-2600K @ 4.8 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570||Fully Playable//Lag in some areas of the game. Voice stuttering re-boot needed!||MozzaGamer|
|Windows 7||AMD FX 4100 @ 4.1 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce 550 Ti||Playable but suffers drops in framerates, got the best framerates (25-30FPS) using Direct3d9.||tpaul|
|Windows 7||AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.8 GHz||AMD Radeon HD 6850||Fully Playable: In some Levels full FPS -> 30FPS, in areas with many zombies about 15-20FPS.||Basteek112|
|Windows 7||AMD Phenom II X6 960T @ 3.8 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce 460 GTX||Fully Playable: Running @ 30FPS, the game can stutter very rarely at some points of the levels w/ 1.5x Internal Native Res. 2x Anisotropic Filtering.||L|
|Windows 7||Intel Core i5 @ 2.8 GHz||ATI Radeon HD 5450||Game seems to run well, full speed most of the time with perfect graphics. To have such graphics, use Bleach Versus Crusade projection hack. Sound seems to work really well, but there are still some missing sounds. Played with keyboard and mouse, a lot easier :P Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (Wii) on Dolphin Wii/GC Emulator 720p HD||Slayer Francoxssj|
|Windows 7||Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 4.2 GHz||ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT||The game is perfect playable. Sometimes have a small FPS drop, but that isn't annoying (Sorry for my English XD ). I have video down there, check it! There is little slowdowns but that's because of the recording. Without recording, the game runs perfectly. With 30FPS (30 the max in this game).||KicsiF@ater|
|Windows 10||AMD Phenom II x4 965 @ 3.4 GHz||NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960||The game is playable. To solve the heavy slowdowns / Video stuttering problems (it will have some once in a while) you need to set the config with NO "Anti Aliasing" , "Anisotropic 1x" , The internal resolution must not surpass 2k (and that is if the GPU is good, otherwise stick with 720 or 1080p) and Accuracy on "FAST" . Also in the game properties set the following as enable MMU , Sync GPU thread , Speed up disc transfer.||Terry_Sunderland|
