Second Sight is an action-adventure video game. The storyline follows MIT parapsychology researcher, John Vattic, and his attempts to recover his memory as well as the secrets behind his new mental powers.

Problems

Framerate Drops

With default settings, ingame framerate can often drop to half of normal and the game can chug, even though the emulation is running full speed. This can be fixed by unchecking "Enable Dual Core". See issue 10809.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
5.0 Windows 7 Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Played the first few levels. Runs at full speed with upscaling. No obvious graphic or sound errors. Occasional slowdown during heavy activity and when using certain Psi abilities, although this slowdown was much less frequent on the 718 build of Ishiiruka Dolphin. Thankfully the border lines issue from TimeSplitters 2 is not present here despite sharing the same game engine. Flang
5.0-6203 Windows 10 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Unstable framerate with default settings; FPS often drops to 40 or below when spinning the camera around in most places. Unchecking "Enable Dual Core" seems to keep the framerate stable. Otherwise no other problems noticed with all other settings default. Played through Isolation and Preparation. Xerxes
