Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is a spin-off game and toy brand in the Spyro series. The game combines the software with toys, which link to the game with a device called a "portal". Players place toys onto the portal to unlock new characters for play in the game.
Emulation Information
Portal of Power
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure requires a USB device called the Portal of Power. As of Dolphin 5.0-18299 you can choose to emulate this USB device directly within the emulator. If you have a physical Portal of Power and wish to continue off of saved progress in your existing figurines, you can use third party dumping tools to dump the figure data off of your existing Skylanders figures for use in the emulated Portal or create IDs directly within the emulated Portal of Power. Up to eight figurine data dumps can be used at a time.
If you wish to use a physical Portal of Power you can do so by following the USB Passthrough guide. You cannot use a physical portal and an emulated portal at the same time.

Enhancements
Bloom Offset at Higher IR
When playing at higher internal resolutions, bloom effects will scale incorrectly, with multiple copies of the bloom spread out from the source, which can be very distracting.
Graphics Mods can be used to render the bloom at native resolution, blur the bloom to native resolution (only available after 2603-215) or disable it altogether.
When no Graphics Mods are available for the game, disabling Scaled EFB Copy can be used as a workaround. This will render all EFB effects at native resolution.
Because bloom effects are often rendered at low resolutions, the bloom may appear shimmery when rendered at native resolution.
60 FPS
Although the game runs at 60 FPS internally, the actual gameplay scene is only rendered every other frame: the game presents 60 FPS with duplicated frames, since some elements such as the UI and the magic moment render at the full frame rate.
The following cheat code forces 60 FPS rendering for the main gameplay scene.
Using the code makes emulating the game significantly more demanding. Also, to avoid internal frame drops, set Emulated CPU Clock Override to at least 150%.
Worldwide (except NTSC-J)
$60 FPS 0402124C 38000000
NTSC-J
$60 FPS 04027A00 38000000
Minor issue exclusive to the Japanese version (for some reason): attempting to skip a cutscene will instead fast-forward it with no dialogue.
