In Sand Oasis Zone shadows are totally dark and fire points have transparency problems.  In some areas (non-sunny areas) the shadows are completely dark as well on console and this is not a glitch in Dolphin.  The fire transparency issues don't seem to be around in latest master either.
There are no reported problems with this title, though open issues may exist in Dolphin's Issue Tracker.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is a video game developed by Sonic Team as part of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It was released exclusively for the Wii on February 20, 2007 in North America; March 2 in Europe; and March 15 in Japan. Secret Rings is a 3D platform and action game whose plot follows the series' main character, Sonic the Hedgehog, on a quest to stop an evil genie named the Erazor Djinn. The game uses a system of experience points and levels, as well as special moves.

Emulation Information

Emulated Wii Remote

Using an emulated Wii Remote may cause issues with actions such as homing attack and walking backwards. This can be corrected by marking both "Sideways Wiimote" and "Upright Wiimote" on the Wii Remote configuration screen. "Upright Wiimote" may need to be deactivated for some sections, such as the flying carpet in the final world.

Problems

Various Graphics Issues

There are no reported problems with this title, though open issues may exist in Dolphin's Issue Tracker.

Enhancements

IR >1 and Scaled EFB Copies Impacts Special Effects

Having an internal resolution above 1x Native and having Scaled EFB Copies enabled will cause some depth effects (such as the text on the parchment in Lost Prologue) appear slightly different. In the case of Lost Prologue, the text disappears slightly further away than it would otherwise. This is barely noticeable and does not impact gameplay at all.

60 FPS

The following AR code will make the game run at 60 fps instead of 30.

After that the game is a bit too hard for me to really care and I stopped. Game is pretty beautiful in Dolphin all things considered. JMC47
5.0 Windows 10 Intel Core i5-4690K AMD Radeon HD 6970 Most of the time I get full speed (30fps), but certain effects like the sun in Sand Oasis will drag the framerate down (~20fps) when they're on screen. Checking "Skip EFB Access" helps, and doesn't cause too many major graphical issues. Sometimes, excess smoke will cause minor slowdowns, too. 1x native resolution, 8x SSAA, DirectX 11. 5.0-200 Windows 10 Intel Core i7-5820K NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 Game runs at full speed in 2k30FPS. I was using an emulated Wii Remote with upright and sideways Wii Remote set and Sonic was constantly moving forward making the game unplayable. I could not find a fix for this either. Brimaster2000
