Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS Version CPU GPU Result Tester
4.0.2 Windows 7 x64 Intel Core i5-3570k @ 3.4GHz AMD Radeon HD 7970 Game crashes sporadically, usually when entering/exiting areas. High-resolution play barely works. Requires OpenGL. S8
4.0-4368 Linux Ubuntu 14.04 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz nVidia GeForce GTX 650 Only starts with Skip EFB Access from CPU, otherwise crashes on a 7x10 box of pixels before intro cutscene. Needs Real XFB to display cutscenes. Playable, but can slow down to 80% in outdoor areas. Able to beat the first few zones without issue. No noticeable graphical errors. Xerxes
4.0-5110 Windows 8 x64 Intel Core i3-2100 @ 3.1GHz nVidia GeForce GTX 660 The game hangs at a black screen after the Big Sky logo. All workarounds have been applied but still no dice. Nehalem
4.0-5110 Linux Ubuntu 14.10 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz nVidia GeForce GTX 650 Licensed by Nintendo screen now displays instead of being a bunch of giant pixels thanks to 4.0-4603, but in order to even see it you have to turn off Skip EFB Access from CPU which breaks the game. With the hack enabled this loading screen is somehow bypassed and the game boots fine. After the Big Sky logo the screen goes black apparently infinitely, but mashing start lets the game continue normally. Plays the same as 4.0-4368 except maybe a bit faster. Xerxes
