In Spyro: A Hero's Tail Spyro must save the Dragon Realms from the Evil Red Dragon who has planted light-sapping Dark Gems all over the Dragon Realms in an attempt to control the world. With the help of his allies, Spyro must seek out and destroy all of the Dark Gems to return the land back to normal and to save the Dragon Realms from the evil dragon's tyrannical control. Guide Spyro as he uses his new dragon powers, abilities, and gadgets in lush environments rife with new villains.

Patches

Aspect HUD fix

The HUD can be fixed by using this code that alters the vertical coordinates of the HUD. However, the widescreen code has not been found yet. The following codes will only affect the HUD when the cheats are enabled. If you are using a 16:9 HUD, please set your aspect ratio to 16:9 with widescreen hack turned on in the graphics menu. Set the ratio option to "Auto" and and turn off "Widescreen Hack" if you are playing in 4:3. For resolutions wider than 16:9, keep widescreen hack on and set the aspect ratio to Stretch to Window. This code and the widescreen hack simulates the XBOX version of this game, which also supports widescreen unlike the GameCube. In wider aspect ratios, there are some elements that are not normally seen on Gameplay while playing as Spyro.
