Starblade (スターブレード Sutāburēdo) is a 3D space-based rail shooter arcade game that was released by Namco in 1991. It was notable for its early use of real-time 3D graphics, produced using the Namco System 21 "Polygonizer" arcade system board, and it is believed to have had a strong influence on the 1993 Nintendo game Star Fox.
As of Dolphin 5.0-15974, using default graphics settings, the main game appears mostly red/white on the game's graphics making the game hard to play. In order to restore the original colors, Disable Force 24-bit color and Ignore Format Changes under graphics configuration.
Unknown Opcode errors occur as the main menu loads. Disabling dual core fixes the issue.
With EFB Copies to Texture Only, the game loads and sound plays fine but graphics are garbled making it unplayable. Disable EFB Copies to Texture Only to correct this. Fixed since at least 5.0-10516.
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

---|---|---|
Enable Dual Core | Off | Avoid Unknown Opcode errors |
