I've said this before in the general discussion, but after the recent edits I think I should remind everyone that I'm working on a replacement for this guide. Shonumi has created a vastly better guide, and I'm working with him to finish it and port it over here. Just a bit of work left to do to get it ready. It will have ALL options and ALL features. Originally when the performance guide was created, the emulator had tons of options that could speed games up but break tons of things. Now 90% of those are gone, and the fastest configuration is usually the defaults. So the new guide will outline everything that Dolphin can do, and at the end have a section specifically for performance (after saying where everything is and what they do). I'll start putting stuff up on the wiki shortly if you guys want to join in.

Also Jhonn, you kind of screwed me with your style changes to the pics. I have Windows 7, and I need to make an uber guide with a bazillion pics from all over Dolphin. Can we '''''pleeeeeease''''' stick to Windows 7 style for now? Changing everything to the Win8 will make my job much harder. And Windows 7 is still the OS used by the vast majority of Dolphin users, and the OS recommended by the Dolphin homepage... - [[User:MaJoR|MaJoR]] ([[User talk:MaJoR|talk]]) 23:32, 16 April 2013 (CEST)

Now 90% of those are gone, and the fastest configuration is usually the defaults. So the new guide will outline everything that Dolphin can do, and at the end have a section specifically for performance (after saying where everything is and what they do). I'll start putting stuff up on the wiki shortly if you guys want to join in.
