Ooookay, this was brought up in the channel and I've been doing some research on it, and Dragon Quest X is a VERY weird game! Apparently they did all kinds of nutty things to get a modern MMO to work on the wii...
- This specific game (Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online) is the base version of dragon quest X. Dragon Quest X: Nemureru Yuusha to Michibiki no Meiyuu Online is an expansion of dragon quest X and is not a stand alone game. In addition to these, there is the All in One retail package that contains the base game and the expansion.
- The base game comes on two discs, making it the only two disc wii game we know of. And bizarrely the discs are apparently 4.1GB and 1.6GB in size, so they could have used a dual layer disc and didn't. A dual layer disc is cheaper than two discs so... *shrug*.
