:::::::Thanks for rewrite, they looks fine to me. And for 16GB SD card for use with Dragon Quest X Online we should write under its Emu Info section in its own page, and add this page's link to there so the reader can visit here for the full instruction on how to build vSD. The reader will know what size it should use during creating a new vSD. [[User:Lucario|Lucario]] ([[User talk:Lucario|talk]]) 08:30, 26 November 2015 (CET)

Creating SD Card for Linux and OS X users

I haven't tried, but you can try! I have a quick guide for you and please tell me if you made it.

  1. Go to SDK Tools Only and download one for your system.
  2. Unzip it, then find and extract a file named mksdcard from \tools\ to elsewhere.
  3. Then type in terminal: mksdcard 2048M sd.raw (confirmed on Windows, but same goes for Linux / OS X? More command information)

Did it created 2GB? Can Dolphin read it? Thank you for testing. Lucario (talk) 18:21, 25 June 2015 (CEST)

Tested on Hackintosh. Linux and real Mac users can try too and inform us if it works for you. Lucario (talk) 19:54, 26 June 2015 (CEST)
OK, so this was tested successfully apparently. We need to revise the guide to not be Windows specific for SDCard creation, and purge this discussion out. Kolano (talk) 23:58, 25 November 2015 (CET)
Should the big three OSes in the parentheses after download link be enough to make SD creation section looks less Windows specific? Lucario (talk) 05:23, 26 November 2015 (CET)
OK, hrm, didn't realize the tool included versions for all 3 OS's in it. We may still need some edits...
  • I was thrown off by the discussion around the Windows bat file. Since we don't describe it's use here we may want to avoid bringing it up.
  • "Drag and drop" per this article such may be broken in Vista (curse you Vista), not clear if we should address that.
  • "Type 2048M for 2GB, or if desired, instead it with different size like 512M (512MB), 1024M (1GB), etc." is grammatically incorrect.
Kolano (talk) 06:06, 26 November 2015 (CET)
Please rewrite for me if you could see grammatical mistakes because I couldn't tell by myself. Lucario (talk) 06:41, 26 November 2015 (CET)
Rewrite complete, though please review/correct if necessary. We may need to revise this to discuss larger SD cards as well Dragon Warrior X Online seems to need a 16GB one. Kolano (talk) 07:31, 26 November 2015 (CET)

How to work with sd.raw in Windows WITHOUT ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver?

This driver is a fully safe? And I can mount sd.raw with devio?
