::IMO, the difference is that the manual is made to work explicitly as a Wii application. Which is why it works on Dolphin, just like it would on a Wii. Platform?
Technically, the only platform the Wii U Menu runs on is the Wii U, even though it's a vWii.

Relevancy for a GC/Wii emulator
This channel was never released for the GC/Wii and makes use of hardware that is specific to the Wii U. How relevant is it to have such an article for the "Wii U Menu" for a GC/Wii emulator wiki? Léo (leoetlino) (talk) 10:57, 20 June 2017 (CEST)
