Platform?

Is it the Wii, Wii U or both?

Technically, the only platform the Wii U Menu runs on is the Wii U, even though it's a vWii.

In theory this isn't really the Wii U Menu, is an app to return to the Wii U menu from within the Wii U's vWii setup; making it a Wii app, though likely forever incompatible with Dolphin. At the same time we've omitted "platform" on most other pages, so we may want to do so here too. Kolano (talk) 23:42, 20 June 2017 (CEST)

Can't we have the "vWii" as platform? It sounds less of a blatant "Wii U app", but still implying it's a Wii app, though officially for Wii U only. Lucario (talk) 00:50, 21 June 2017 (CEST)

Relevancy for a GC/Wii emulator

This channel was never released for the GC/Wii and makes use of hardware that is specific to the Wii U. How relevant is it to have such an article for the "Wii U Menu" for a GC/Wii emulator wiki? Léo (leoetlino) (talk) 10:57, 20 June 2017 (CEST)

This seems to have come along for the ride with Wii Menu Electronic Manual another app found inside the Wii U's vWii setup. Though I'm dubious any work would go in to handling this app more graciously; the manual app apparently does run in Dolphin. I'm not clear there would be a good reason to include one and not the other. Kolano (talk) 23:42, 20 June 2017 (CEST)
