For over a decade, the Tetris series has made an appearance on every game system. Tetris Worlds continues that streak, bringing their distinct brand of simple, yet addictive gameplay to the current generation of systems. Small shapes called Tetraminoes fall from the top of the screen to the bottom and you must rotate them and fit them together to complete lines. The game features six different variations of the classic Tetris, multiplayer mode for up to four players, and six different worlds. Sound easy? Once you start, you can't stop.

Problems

Intro Video Stutter

The very end of the intro video stutters with default settings. Enabling CPU Clock Override and setting it to 115% or above will allow it to play normally, however this will reduce performance.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

Testing

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:

Test Entries
Revision OS CPU GPU Result Tester
3.0-811 Mac OS X 10.7.5 Intel Core i7 @ 2.2GHz AMD Radeon HD 6750M Playable. Videos are not visible although sound from them is played, which stutters from time to time. Otherwise everything seems to work fine at a stable 60FPS. Tested with default settings and DSP HLE. Nolendil
4.0-1776 Windows Vista AMD Phenom @ 2.4GHz NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 Playable. Crashes upon startup when using OpenGL backend. Direct3D works. Unlike other tester, prerendered videos worked. Ran at roughly half speed. Anonymous
5.0-5455 Windows 10 Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Nearly perfect with default settings. The very end of the intro video stutters without increasing CPU clock speed, but that's the only problem with emulation that I saw. Holds 100% almost all the time, besides a few frames of slowdown on the main menu and rarely during certain line clear effects. This doesn't detract at all from gameplay though. Xerxes
