Problems

Third Width Graphics in NES Titles

NES titles will display using only a third of the screen width, partially showing an offset copy of the screen on the side. Enable Progressive Scan to avoid this. It also may be necessary to hold B while booting the game at least one time to properly enable Progressive Scan and disable XFB. Another workaround is enabling real XFB, but the game will run at a low resolution.

Broken Graphics in NES Titles

NES titles are unplayable due the major graphical issues. Fixed by 4.0-1288.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.

Graphics

Config Setting Notes
Texture Cache Accuracy Safe (Position 1) For NES titles: fixes wrong sprites and text flickering
Enable Progressive Scan On For NES titles: fix graphic output, XFB must not be Virtual
