Originally released as a bonus disk for those who pre-ordered The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest contains GCN versions of Ocarina of Time and the never-released 64DD Ura Zelda (a remixed version of Ocarina of Time with harder dungeons ... Only true heroes will make it through this quest alive!).
Fans of Nintendo's acclaimed series can play both of these games on their GameCubes, and enjoy a few technical improvements over the N64 versions, namely a higher 640x480 resolution, Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound support, and 480p Progressive Scan support. Veterans and newcomers alike will find something to enjoy with this excellent port of the classic N64 game.
Problems
Older versions
This game works almost perfect with r6088 or newer but it will freeze or crash if you use JIT/JITiL recompiler in older revisions. In this case the only way to boot the game is with Interpreter mode (very slow) however some versions of game may work:

- Europe D43P01: Hangs post game/input selection.
- Austrailia D43U01: Hangs post game/input selection.
It's been reported that some versions work perfectly in older revisions, with minor sound bugs but this is questionable given that errors seem related to a well known bug on older revisions, unaddressed issue running titles that use multiple executables (see issue 233). Disc images that work in JIT/JITiL with older revisions may have been edited from originals in some way.
Sound
Some versions have high sound latency.

This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.
