Platforms Update Project
I've been wanting to do an update to the platforms pages for a while. For months, every time I go to the Gamecube or Wii pages, I see the pixelated pictures in the infobox and cringe. They were meant as thumbnails for the mainpage, scaling them up like that just makes for some baaad results. Add in how out of date all the VC pages are, and how they don't have any infoboxes, and I have my first big project here. Here's the goals of the project.
- Replace the main page thumbnails for GC and Wii to logos, so they match the surrounding logos for WiiWare, Channels, and VC. (Done - 04:56, 6 March 2012 (CET))
- Update the GC and Wii description, infobox pictures (GC and Wii mockups), and infobox information. Note the infobox pictures will be using 300px images, same as for boxart, instead of the current 250px. (Done - 04:56, 6 March 2012 (CET))
- Add infoboxes and updated descriptions for all the various platforms, and for VC, Wiiware, and Channel pages, all with 300px infobox pictures.

- Update the WiiWare and VC pages with all new releases
It's going to be alot of work and I'm kinda busy so, I'm going to be nibbling away at it whenever I can in the coming days/weeks. If anyone wants to help out feel free to. If anyone has any comments, suggestions, or ideas to make this easier and faster, let me know.

Kolano, we're doing two different things here. You are working on filling out the games and details, and I'm working on the descriptions and art and stuff. Both need to be done, but I'm an artist with dialup so give me a break :P. Just keep adding games. Global Problems
The controller issue got purged here... If you're referring to Template:GlobalProblems/Virtual Console still showing the purged problem, the workaround is clicking on edit and then saving the page again without changing anything. This bug occur randomly and the same workaround applies for any other subpage of GlobalProblems, as I tested so far... Jhonn (talk)
Wii Network
Well, I don't know much about it. I kept testing wii-network since the very beginning in games that I own, but despite the Just Dance random freeze issue I don't have anything useful. Well, I know how to get the certificates with wiicertdump and where they should be placed to work properly with Dolphin, so, you can contact me if you get in trouble preparing the documentation, after all, there isn't too much trouble in getting this working , but I'm in with it if you need help... We currently default all the navigation templates with "|state = expanded", we'd need to revise them to allow the state parameter to be passed into the internal Navbox template. I'll try to see what can be done, but I'll probably need to tinker for a while and it may be a pain to apply it across all the different templates. Kolano (talk) 06:26, 3 November 2014 (CET)
