TV Anhanguera CD-ROM

Please hold up on adding details related to the "TV Anhanguera CD-ROM", or other systems you've recently added details about. Dolphin does not emulate these platforms, so this is not an appropriate location for their discussion. I'm unable to find details online about "TV Anhanguera CD-ROM", if it's a platform similar to the Triforce platform future support might be possible, but at this time no one has any idea what the "TV Anhanguera CD-ROM" even is (outside of it theoretically supporting: Mario Party 5, Mario Kart Arcade GP, Mario Tennis, and Mortal Combat Trilogy).

It also seems like you, or someone from a similar IP, is responsible for all the other Wiki edits elsewhere that mention this in any way. This all seems highly suspicious.

I have done some more research and have more data. - MayImilae (talk) 09:51, 28 February 2016 (CET)

  • Anhangüera is a Portuguese word of Brazilian origin. It makes no sense to me that it would be related to a korean game system. Furthermore, the grammar of "Anhunguera" is not east asian. Btw, it means "old devil" in Portuguese and was given to an explorer of the period by the natives of Brazil. 5
  • "TV Anhanguera Mega Drive" mentioned throughout with the above, and while it makes no sense, to humor it I looked up what Brazil's megadrive was called, and though it was licensed by Tectoy and had some slight changes to the physical design, but it was simply called the "Sega Mega Drive". 6. The Triforce in Brazil is called... the Triforce. 7
  • Further the mega drive is called "Mega Drive" in Korea 8, and the Korean Triforce is called the Triforce 9
  • The korean wikipedia only has the world "Anhanguera" on it *once* on the entire wiki! It is here, referencing a dinosaur named by a Brazilian paleontologist. 10
  • The only concrete finds of "TV Anhanguera" that I found are of a television network in brazil. 11

Yeach's Box Adventure / Stal Ball!

I can find no details online for either of these titles. I'm certain Yeach's Box Adventure was not the top selling Sega Master System game in the EU. I'm dubious they were even released for their base systems, none the less on the Nintendo Virtual Console.

Release Dates

We are happy to get more accurate/inclusive release date info for titles supported by Dolphin, but:

  • I'm having trouble finding sources that confirm many of the added release dates for SA / KO
  • You've purged out seemingly valid release dates from various titles.
